Farvel Team Katharina Hogg and Sebastian Kuhn

Who we are

Katharina Hogg-Erdrich and Sebastian Kuhn-Prohic met in 2008 while studying at the University of Zurich. A few years ago, Katharina found that it was difficult to find an urn that met her requirements in terms of sustainability, individuality and aesthetics. After lengthy research, it became apparent that the funeral industry had not yet responded to the growing demand for environmentally friendly, modern and, in particular, customizable designs.

During a conversation on Lake Geneva, Katharina and Sebastian decided to tackle this topic. Their mission: to develop stylish, sustainable and customizable urns that rethink the farewell and offer contemporary solutions for a modern funeral culture.

Display in full screen mode The bag in which our urn is sent can also be used later as an ash bag. If you wish, the ashes bag can also be included in the farewell ritual and decorated with colorful fingerprints of the mourners, for example.
Display in full screen mode We are Sebastian and Katharina, the founders of Farvel and have been friends for 16 years. Katharina used to work as a marketing consultant in the advertising industry and Sebastian and his agency help companies to find jobs.
